i found the pillows were not very comfortable. it would be nice if alternative pillow types were available in the wardrobe. it felt inconvenient to request them after getting ready for bed.

lovely hotel with minor setbacks

beautiful groundssustainability measuresthoughtful amenitiesovercrowded pool
the hotel grounds are beautiful offering a quiet setting. i especially liked the sustainability measures they have put in place to minimise plastic waste with their water and milk provision.
the pool area was noticeably overcrowded during the designated 'kids hour' this made it challenging to relax and enjoy the spa facilities. i believe better communication regarding these times could improve the experience. the absence of staff monitoring activities in the pool also detracted from the overall peaceful atmosphere.
Facilities
9/10
the spa is equipped with a range of facilities for relaxation. the pool appeared well-maintained though quite busy during certain hours and changing rooms were clean. i observed stations with hand sanitiser throughout the hotel enhancing the sense of safety.
Dining
9/10
i found the breakfast to be satisfying with good choices. the restaurant had tables spaced generously apart and the dinner menu offered dishes like fish and chips i found particularly appealing. the staff were very friendly and attentive throughout the meal service.

the entrance impressed me greatly and so did the building interior. the reception staff were cute. i thought the milk and water dispensers were inspired.
the bar team was chaotic and eager to finish their shift. i considered the breakfast to be decent but definitely not worth twenty pounds per person.
